A chimney crown covers the upper part of the chimney and it's allows smoke to vent through the flue to prevent moisture from getting inside. The lip of the crown has a downward slope that  directs the water away from the chimney. The first possible way to fix a chimney crown if it has just a few small cracks is to seal it with a waterproof sealant. The second way is used when there are larger cracks or missing/loose pieces and then the best solution is to rebuild the entire crown.

Flashing is a strip of metal that is used to keep water from entering where the chimney meets the roof line. There will be water leakage if the flashing is improperly installed, worn or corroded. We can apply a sealant that can stop leaks coming from the flashing area.

A chimney cricket is a small ridge on the top,  which is installed on the high side of your chimney to deflect water and debris from your  chimney. A chimney cricket can be installed with your flashing system so that water does not build up around your chimney's base.
